Prometheus's Fire: Contributors

Douglas McMillan was born in Uxbridge, England in 1971, but was raised in Ireland. He received a BSc in Biology from Durham University, after which he organised a series of international environmentall conferences in his home town of Carlow, followed by work as a landscape gardiner.

Next he did an MSc in Environmental Resource Management at University College Dublin, after which he fulfilled a long-term desire to live on the continent by moving to Paris in July 1997.

There he works full-time as Project Manager of the 'Media and Sustainable Development Programme' of the European University of the Environment, a non-goverrnmental organisation which promotes sustainable development initiatives throughout Europe. He edited in 1993 the 'Green Issues' conference proceedings, which has been published by Tyndall Publications.
